Montsaye Community Collegeis a large college in
Rothwell.It is state funded and was granted
dual speciality status in late 2004, adding Humanities to its well established Language College status. Over 1200 students attend the college, which until recent years had consistently attained a 5 A*-C pass rate of around 60%, although the pass rate has fallen to around 51% in 2007.
Mrs Sue Fennell is the current headteacher. The school received a good review from
OFSTED in 2006. Montsaye is also the site of the recently developed
Rothwell Swimming Pool, which now incorporates a modern sports centre used both by the school and the community.:
The Childern in the school are aged 11-18 and come mainly from
Desborough and Rothwell as well as surrounding villages.The school has around 1200 students and over 30 members of staff.
